Celebrate Independence Day in classic Vermont style at the Stowe 4th of July Parade and Community Celebration, a full day of patriotic fun in the heart of the Village of Stowe. Presented by Stowe Vibrancy in partnership with the Town of Stowe, this beloved tradition brings together locals and visitors for music, movement, and hometown pride.

Festivities begin at 11 a.m. on the Village Green with live music and entertainment, followed by the world’s shortest marathon—a spirited and meaningful race honoring USMC Lt. Ryan Casey along the Stowe Recreation Path. At 12 p.m., the Village comes alive as the parade steps off, featuring imaginative floats, community groups, and participants of all kinds. Whether you walk, dance, drive, or design an over-the-top float, creativity is encouraged and participation is welcome.

Throughout the day, enjoy delicious food from a variety of local vendors, family-friendly activities, and additional live music from 1–2 p.m. As evening approaches, gather at Mayo Fields for one of Vermont’s most impressive fireworks displays, lighting up the Stowe sky at dusk and bringing the celebration to a spectacular close.
